Hayley Westenra

Hey teens! This woman has the most beautiful angelic voice you will ever hear! I think my favorite song of hers is called Dark Waltz. Here is her song.

Isn't it just the most beautiful song? I love the lyrics too. I get the most lovely images in my head from them. I love the play with both dark and light in the song. Love and light to you and yours as well.

Another fabulous recommendation, Witchy: many thanks! She reminds me somewhat of both Loreena McKennitt (who I'm sure you're already familiar with) and Kaitlyn Lusk, the vocal soloist touring with The Lord of the Rings Symphony -- saw her perform with the St. Louis Symphony 3 years ago. Check out her version of "Into the West" if you get the chance.

BTW, did you ever follow up on my suggestion to check out Elvendrums? If so, what'd you think?

Bright Blessings,
MH

A lot of the artists I recommend come from my pandora station. I love pandora for searching out music. I did a post of Loreena Mckennitt so I am familiar with her. As for the other woman, I haven't heard of her. That must have been an awesome show you went to. I love the Lord of the Rings. I unfortunately haven't had time to check out any of that music but I'll get back to you if I do!

I'd forgotten about your LMcK post -- sorry about that! Here's a link to Kaitlyn at the end of the LotR Symphony:

There's a couple of other recordings of this out there on YouTube, but I'm partial to this one 'cause it's a rehearsal for the performance I attended.

Hope you enjoy!

Bright Blessings,
MH

I checked out the youtube clip. I love the Lord of the Rings music. It is just so beautiful. I also checked out the elven drums. In all honesty it's just not quite my style. But they do seem passionate about the Earth and all things faerie which is always a good thing in my book. Many blessings.
